As we make a return to hands-on bodywork services, I’m making every effort to maintain an environment at the office that is as clean and safe as I’m able to provide. In full transparency, the life we’re living in our world today presents risks that I’m not able to eliminate fully. We are each making difficult choices. Taking precautions against COVID-19 is important, and in my point of view, maintaining our health physically, mentally, emotionally, and economically is also important while we are alive and well.

To protect you, I am using an EPA List-N approved product for human coronavirus to spray and wipe door handles, light switch, faucets, countertop, side table, pen/stylus, jewelry dish, cabinet knobs, hand sanitizer spray bottles, client chair, door hooks and hanger, floor mat, massage table surface and legs, bolsters, oil bottle and lotion pump, and ball that I sit on. A hepa air filter is in use during sessions as well. I wear a mask and clean apron for each appointment, self-monitor for symptoms, and adhere to the same protocols as clients with regards to rescheduling as well.

NEW OFFICE PROCEDURES:

–Arrive freshly showered in clean clothes. Plan your day to make our office the first place you go, rather than the last, in order to maintain a clean, safe environment in our office.
–Text when you have arrived. I will text back when I’m ready for you to come into the office.
–Wear a mask, if you do not have one, I will provide one. Bring in only your car key, phone, and payment. Have a water bottle in your car—I am no longer pouring a glass of water in the room for you.
–When I let you in, I will use an infrared thermometer to check your temperature and a fingertip pulse oximeter to check your oxygen saturation level. Provided those are in normal, healthy ranges, you will then wash your hands in the treatment room as I set sheets on the table, or go to the restroom if needed and wash your hands there.
–You must wear your mask while walking around in the office and while face-up on the table. If you are not able to keep your mask on while face down, you can tuck it under your body while on the table face down.
